- Adversarial Robustness of Genomic Foundation Models→A model-agnostic robustness pipeline across seven classification tasks and six DNA/RNA foundation models, with LoRA-based defenses that roughly halve attack success. Submitted August 2026, not yet peer-reviewed.
- Open-Source Research Tooling→PyPI packages and templates for making HPC and agentic research workflows reproducible: SLURM cost reporting, GPU job templates, and portable research skills.
- Creative Coding Experiments→Side projects where bioinformatics meets internet culture — playful games, sequence tools that don't take themselves too seriously, and language experiments.
- Hackathon Projects→Prototypes built under 8- to 28-hour constraints at HudsonAlpha HATCH and the UGA-Bayer Hackathon: a maize yield predictor, an astronaut diet planner, and a bird migration tracker.
- TYRA Mentor-Mentee Platform→A researcher matching platform that scaled to 700+ annual participants and 1,876 connections across 4 cohorts for the Taiwanese Young Researchers Association.
- Plant Disease Diagnosis Chatbot→The first Mandarin-language chatbot for plant disease diagnosis, built on open government data in 2017 — years before the LLM wave. Secured NTD$410,000 at Taiwan's Open Data Innovative Application Contest.
